A waste of resources. Was there even any real science to this trip? Couldn't the funding/recourses be much better utilized? I imagine there are whole lot of scientists that would give the eyeteeth for funding. BBC had a Titanic explorer on. He was totally dismissive of this whole endeavor as an absurdly risky vehicle. Usual subs for that depth are spheres, which makes sense.",
