The technology is not really the issue; no one likes writing the import/export parts of services because they are tricky and not that interesting.
If Gagron had some experience here, he would have known to queue this and have a chunk-based migration linked to server load, like WordPress learned to do.

@npub18su…nd38 pointed out that one server is now doing the work of two, so it's struggling with those exports and emails.
Ideally I would like to move past posts over to the new server; a lot of work went into those, and there's some good stuff there.

Mine is even a more religious perspective: I am in love with the world. Nature is beautiful and the best of humanity is great. There are so many cool things to do and see. I got into politics because of the environmental thing. In my view, the only solution is Half-Earth, and as much as Biden sucks ass, he at least paid lip service to getting closer to it.

It's a worldwide phenomena now. People got ahold of some crazy ideas and ran with them.
I see SLACK as part but not the whole, sort of like capitalism, ethno-nationalism, culture rule, social hierarchy, Half Earth, etc.
We do not need one big theory; we need attention to reality!

In my analysis, look to your family to see how things will likely go.
I knew at least one fellow who made to 107 with clear mind and mostly functional body. Then, he died rather quickly. Seemed ideal.
There are others in their 60s-80s who seem like insane lobotomized zombies, but somehow they persist.
