For Trump, these AI fakes aren’t primarily about deceiving people, though some might be taken in.
They’re something more familiar, though not necessarily less corrosive: the visual equivalent of the casual whoppers, half-truths and nasty nicknames he tosses off routinely from the stump and on Truth Social.
