I had missed it, but Apple's upcoming OS updates will add energy consumption insights (initially for 1 🇺🇸 utility). Combined with the already introduced 'Clean Energy Forecast' and home automation, an Apple Energy Ecosystem is emerging.

What does it say about e-mobility that both Musk (🇺🇸 Tesla) and Bolloré (🇫🇷 Bluecar/bus) are trying to take control of the media - or a platform - to promote certain - often (far) right - views?
Is it that EVs offer great opportunities in an emerging field, and that both have demonstrated their ability to find (not invent) such business prospects?
Is the opportunistic behaviour inherent to the world views they're promoting, and are the media buys a good match for both?
