Political Parties can't take another over - they are not PLC's. Tories and Reform could form a voting pact or merge to become the Reforming Conservatives - that would be an oxymoron - somehow I just can't see that happening without the help of Russia or USA. It's obvious that the 'British Problem' is that private companies are poorly managed and poorly financed - that makes their profits inadequate to fund both themselves and pay enough taxes to fund everything they gain from being in the UK. Such as an educated workforce, NHS, Infrastructure and comms etc.

Far and away the biggest problem with housing in the UK is that since the late 60's people have been brainwashed into thinking of their home as a financial investment, not somewhere to live. Banks and builders have jumped on this bandwagon resulting in the whole economy being skewed by investments going into driving property prices up instead of into industry and the wealth generators - it has never been sustainable and we are now seeing the inevitable results. 🤔

It's no coincidence that the most difficult area in LG. is social services... the reason for this is that many services that used to be the remit of the NHS, Social Security, Police and Dept. of Education were transferred to Local Authorities by the Tories over the past 14 years... but the funding did not follow. LA's were told to fund them from Council Taxes. The classic being care of the elderly in the community. 🤨

Farmers can use a tractor on the highway but only to move from one field to another - what they can't do is travel to London or anywhere else using red diesel and having no road tax. The fine for this is astronomic and HMRC can bill them for past use of red diesel assuming all the miles the tractor has done in the past were illegal. I have been stopped a couple of times and had my tank dipped by HMRC staff as I drive a diesel car - I was legal though.

Tenant Farmers will not pay any Inheritance tax because they have no land to pass on... The problem has always been the aristocracy and tycoons buying up farms as a tax avoidance scheme to keep their wealth within the family. Between them they own 47% of UK land, Even so they would only pay half what the rest of us have to pay, farms pay 20% IT while everyone else pays 40%. UK farmers biggest problem is that they are the most inefficient in all of Europe...
