It's no coincidence that the most difficult area in LG. is social services... the reason for this is that many services that used to be the remit of the NHS, Social Security, Police and Dept. of Education were transferred to Local Authorities by the Tories over the past 14 years... but the funding did not follow. LA's were told to fund them from Council Taxes. The classic being care of the elderly in the community. 🤨
