They assured her that the device would not increase her premiums as long as she was careful.

Just yesterday I was thinking about all the suffering I went through in the 90s when I would cry every morning before I had to go to work, so I thought I needed to see someone about mental health, but literally all of my problems were caused by not having enough money. So they would put me on SSRI after SSRI that only made me feel sicker because I had plenty of dopamine, all my problems were caused by not having enough money.
So I would push back and say I don’t understand why I’m taking this medication that makes me feel like crap for six weeks just to see if it might make me feel better at that point when the only reason I’m stressed out is because I don’t have enough money. How will this medication help me pay rent or buy food?
The answer was that it will not, it will just make me be able to mentally handle not being able to pay the rent and not having enough money for food, I guess.
So you’re admitting that you were trying to drug me into not caring that I’m going to work in a hellish environment where I’m not even earning enough to pay rent? That’s not something I want to be OK with actually.
I didn’t realize capitalism was the problem, I didn’t realize corporate greed was the problem, I just couldn’t figure out why I was having such a hard time when I did everything I was supposed to do to have a good life, I worked hard, more than one job at a time. I went to college and got a degree in something useful, I would get promoted at my jobs, but as my income would increase so with the rent and I seem to always be paying half my income to rent which meant I was always struggling.
And if any of these clowns were still practicing today I would be sending them hate mail because how dare you decide that I have a mental problem because I’m poor and it’s upsetting to me.
Sorry for my long rant, I just have big beef with psychiatry and anyone who pushes SSRIs on people as a cure all for everything. Especially because I wasn’t depressed I actually have ADHD that I didn’t get treatment for until I was in my 30s. Maybe that’s why I felt I was working so hard for very little results .

At the end of 2020 he waived the payroll taxes that fund these things, and he was going to make it permanent if he was reelected.
And I’m kind of glad he did it because that was what convinced a couple people I know who were going to vote for him not to do it.
Unfortunately I think two of those people have probably switched back because they are angry at the drug shortages caused by Biden’s FDA & DEA.
But I think it’s important for all the people who have become disabled by Covid to remember that President plump literally defunded Social Security and Medicare at the end of 2020.

Some lady Diane made a long video to try to get to her daughter who has gone no contact, and within the first few minutes of her talking we knew it was because she was one of these moms. She mentioned politics a couple times, then once she got about halfway through she mentioned something about how she doesn’t care who other people love as long as they don’t shove it in your face or something like that, and we all knew at that point why the daughter didn’t talk to her anymore.
They run around acting like victims pretending they have no idea why their kids avoid them.

But instead I just made a list of people I wanted to follow and they would show up in my feed. Probably not as often as if I actually followed them, but at least I saw them so I didn’t forget they existed.

The “Free Staters” in #NH want to remove the income cap for #school choice #vouchers, they don’t want wealthy people missing out on free tax money they can use to send their little darlings to parochial schools. As it stands now a huge portion of the kids using these vouchers were already going to the school they are going to, it’s just that now the taxpayers instead of their parents are paying for it.
These people flip out if you want to provide free school lunch to kids, because they feel they shouldn’t have to pay for other peoples kids, but they want to send their kids to private school on the taxpayers dime.

You could go ahead and read the #Tenets before you judge and criticize them.
The very first one says “one should strive to act with compassion and empathy towards all creatures in recorded with reason.”
The second one is “the struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions.”
The rest are listed here in this link. None of them are selfish or ego driven. But I know that some people who latch onto fairytales are terrified by any mention of Satan or the devil and that clouds all judgment. I feel bad for those people.

This Christian nationalist lady I know claims she wasn’t touching it but someone kept taking it out of the garden and putting it on my foot stone. And I wouldn’t care that it sat on my footstone because it’s mine except that the mowers will run it over and destroy it.
So every weekend last summer I would go up there and I would take it off my foot stone and put it back in the garden. One day Christian nationalist is up there visiting her brother’s spot, and she specifically came over to tell me she wasn’t the one moving my statue which is super suspicious.
Ao I told her that whoever is doing it is infringing on my 1st amendment rights and it’s fucked up, just like it would be fucked up if I went through the cemetery and turned everybody’s crosses upside down because I don’t like them. That’s when I knew it was her doing it, based on the look on her face when I talked about turning crosses upside down. Lol
After that day my statue was never moved again. I know where her mom and her grandparents grave is, if that statue moves again crosses are getting turned upside down. Bet.

@npub1gmx…atcq does this mean they have started doing reviews again? When they finally approved me for disability they told me they were going to review me every two years. That was in 2016 and I think I’ve had two reviews.
Because Biden refuses to fix the post office I actually live in fear that they mailed me review documents that I just didn’t receive. And if they cut you off and you don’t appeal it with a certain amount of days you just never can ever again. And if you don’t get your mail you don’t know to appeal it.
If they’ve started doing reviews again I think I’m going to regularly call the local office to check my status because I don’t trust the USPS.

@npub1gmx…atcq @npub1w02…ndth my best friend didn’t speak to me for months after I asked her if her boyfriend’s heart emergency where he almost required surgery was really worth eating in restaurants. He’s the only living parent for his two teenagers, their mom died of cancer when they were little. He really shouldn’t be eating in restaurants when it means his kids could end up orphans.
I’m pretty sure we aren’t really friends anymore, but I’m OK with it. I don’t want to be friends with ableists, and after the day she got mad the school made her pick up her feverish child I realize she’s actually dangerous to my health. (and I kind of understood her problem, her kid has ODD so parenting is living hell for her, and she’s trying to work full-time, but the kid actually had strep throat. You’re not allowed to infect all the children in the classroom just because you have stuff to do.)
But the denial is staggering and they will get straight pissed off at you if you point out to them that they might be making a mistake.

And I know it’s a very different time then it was in the 80s but I don’t think I would still be alive today if I needed parental permission for healthcare in the 80s. I mean, maybe I wouldn’t have entered adulthood with bad credit because the hospital would’ve realized I was being neglected by my parents if my parents were sitting right there in front of them telling them I don’t have insurance because they’re too lazy to pay for it or get Medicaid.
But this isn’t about me, this is about kids who this state say are old enough to go to school all day and then work full-time. Kids who are old enough to be forced to carry a parasite that they are then responsible for for the next 18 years. Absolutely not

@npub14uk…2erc i’m a white woman who did prison time in the 90s, I was shocked that my prison job was entering OHRV registrations into a database for the state. We didn’t make license plates like they claim in the movies, we were given registrations for peoples off-road vehicles with their home address on it and their second home address on it and everything. I was kind of shocked by that. I don’t think people knew that when they registered an ATV an inmate was getting their registration.
The slave labor is gross, but most people in prison want to have jobs, it helps them pass the time. I mean, I don’t think most people want to go do hard labor for free, but I enjoyed my little data entry job and I think it paid $1 a day. Kitchen workers earned $3 a day because they had to get up at 4 am.

The only real difference is that other folks there to see Biden didn’t start beating up on the people being removed. That was happening at SNHU Stadium in New Hampshire. I forget why the people were being removed, but the red hats were trying to hit them and shove them as security was taking them away.
I would call it animalistic, but animals are better than that.

@npub1gmx…atcq a couple weeks after my friends elderly mom started testing negative after her covid infection she developed encephalitis that killed her. She never left the hospital bed that Covid put her in, but she also didn’t count as a Covid death because she was testing negative by the time she died.
It was so awful, it was so upsetting that she had to die that slow painful death once they knew she was never going to recover.

I came across a Reddit post the other day where a pharmacist was asking what to do about a pain pill prescription from someone’s PCP, he’s mad they’re not getting pain pills from pain management. Pain management is not accessible to everyone. In the state that I live in when I needed pain management the only Doctor Who accepted Medicaid at the time was the one who sexually assaulted me. I had to wait to qualify for Medicare before I could get any pain relief, I’m really surprised I even survived that.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to go off topic. And I fully understand that pharmacist don’t have to fill prescriptions they are not comfortable filling, but some of these dudes need to chill out.
My PCP‘s office has Pain contracts, they tried to make me sign one when I needed them to take over my Adderall prescription after my mental health provider had to close when her boss died of Covid. I pushed back because I didn’t want to sign a form saying I would not take Benadryl or cold medicine Simply because I have an Adderall prescription. Luckily my provider in Massachusetts opened her own practice so I could go back to her and not deal with paranoia and suspicion.
