They have cheap BLE tags. If those cannot be reverse-engineered maybe you can record their beacons without the reach of any other device and then just replay them. Buying 256 tags may be worth it if the victim stores tens of millions satoshis.
I'd be really surprised if there isn't any way to sneak out 256 bits of data. Or less if the attacker wants to do some brute forcing.

I don't know how small GSM is today but I know that ten years ago the smallest widely available wifi module was around 100 times larger and 10 times costlier than today. So it migh become feasible in the future. There are other radio communication protocols as well.

Anyway, I've been thinking unless it allows you to get a significant personal benefit, just like carnivore or bitcoin, it may be best to not associate ourselves with any conspiracy theories regardless of their truthfulness and focus on spreading the idea that the government itself is illegitimate. Without the government there are no large scale conspiracies.
Things that provide benefits can already improve the lives of voluntaryists and can help others see the government as untrustworthy since there's an incentive to get personal gain.

No matter what you do, you cannot remove key preimages. Zcash has an equivalent problem.
In Bitcoin, you don't need any such thing. Just the UTXO set and a few of the last blocks.
Bitcoin scales by REMOVING information from the chain, which also improves privacy (LN, Taproot). Monero gets privacy by adding junk to the chain.

Note that with a bit of creativity, he could still protect his business and stay moral. E.g. allow companies and individuals who are anarchists and act like anarchists to do whatever they want and disallow statist from using the code. So if Apple wanted to copy their code they'd have to publicly state they are anti-state and release all their patents and copyright. I doubt they'd do it for a few lines of wallet code but even if they did it'd a massive win for freesom.
