Welp, #GameConqueror causes a Null Pointer Exception. Could literally be anything, from the game still being a 32bit executable to something about the #wine environment or just GC not being updated since *checks git* 2017. Although #scanmem probably was, which is its back-end.
Roommate gonna show me more ways to edit memory addresses fancily tomorrow that *hopefully* won't cause the game to crash after 30 seconds. :blahaj:

He strictly argued against any government oversight and pulled the "just inform the consumer and vote with your wallet" card. That's unreasonably libertarian if you ask me. Also it contradicts the fact that, indeed, you can't just "vote with your wallet" something away in modern libertarian systems due to overpowering corporate interests and manipulative marketing + customer manipulation.

I also saw what Thor said, however in the following video (the second came after a reaction of Louis Rossmann who seems to generally support the petition) he also put himself in a very questionable position regarding change. Questionable as in "unreasonably libertarian" in my eyes.
By now I'm once again more in support of the petition.

First I thought of this as a good idea, however as Thor (from PirateGames) pointed out correctly the language of the petition is way too unclear and would indeed threaten video games and the industry in general (including, or rather especially, Indie devs).
Given the unclear language politicians might do something stupid with it, causing huge problems and attack vectors on other studios that could be abused by those who're already big in the business.
tl;dr
Good idea, bad execution.
