Yes, of course! Like any punctuation mark it should be used with care and it's worth considerating whether there's a clearer way to convey what you mean. The slash is often used as shorthand and in fiction we usually have the space to spell things out; some readers may find it disruptive, but there are sometimes occasions where it's the clearest way to convey what you want and you should use it!

Yes, my antagonist exhibits prejudice towards androids that parallels closely to a number of real world prejudices, &the actions he takes as a result involve denial of consent and mind control. While I enjoy playing with these concepts, writing a person who actively works to bring them about is uncomfortable, which is part of why his actions occur entirely off screen.

Most of the time, yes. Especially with erotica, that kind of visceral, in-the-moment, how-does-it-feel writing is very effective.
But like any writing 'rule' it should be treated with a pinch of salt. Show-don't-tell works for achieving a specific effect. It will not succeed if you want to do something else, eg creating a fairytale feel. Sometimes you WANT distance.>

No. Like with much other note-taking and written planning other writers seem to get something out of, it just feels like procrastination and wasted time to me - time I could spend writing, if I'm in that headspace.
I have occasionally done them because it was a prompt for a writing group I'm in, but never off my own bat.
Not knocking it for other people; it just doesn't work for me.

Very much depends on the story. If it's meant to be a romance, it ends with the protags happy and in love, although other elements of their future may be uncertain. But sometimes I'm writing erotic horror and the ending might be hopeless. Or I might want the ending to be haunting or bittersweet. I wouldn't say I have a go to; I end the story in the way suitable to that story.

I've dialed way back since Twitter died and my health got worse. These days it's mostly here and Tumblr. In theory I have a Bluesky, but I've found it quite hostile, and the fact that they run all images through AI means I don't want to share anything visual, which makes it harder to get traction.

Not purely for length, but if the plot arc feels inadequate in some way I might.
For example, in revising #TooHotToHandle I've added a prologue to give a better sense of the world and the history of the two characters. This also meant that less had to be infodumped in chapter one.

No, the traditional publishing erotica industry appears to be dead in the water. I missed its last gasp while I was sorting out the mental damage done by my upbringing wrt sex and sexuality. I'm still sorting that out, but I have at least got to the point where I am comfortable sharing my steamy stories under a pen name.
If there are agents for erotica and erotic romance they wouldn't bother with me.

Evan is still feeling out his creativity - the freedom to create is new and daunting. But he certainly expresses himself in his sense of style and perhaps spends more money than is strictly sensible on his wardrobe.
Carter wouldn't think of himself as creative, but he can draw a little. It's not a talent he was taught to feel proud of growing up, so he rarely shows his work to anyone and largely thinks of them as doodles.

Sitting here, trying to invent new insults for androids, as you do.
A lot of people just steal 'toaster' from BSG, but that insult worked because because the old models *did* look like walking toasters. If you have an insult with a good reason and you steal it from another universe, it just throws the suspension of disbelief for me.
Things like 'Robocop' and 'Terminator' work in fanfic, but using a brand name in original fiction in a derogatory fashion is just asking for trouble.
