#writerscoffeeclub 16 June: How do you like to end a story? Fully resolved? Bittersweet? Dark? What's your go-to?
Very much depends on the story. If it's meant to be a romance, it ends with the protags happy and in love, although other elements of their future may be uncertain. But sometimes I'm writing erotic horror and the ending might be hopeless. Or I might want the ending to be haunting or bittersweet. I wouldn't say I have a go to; I end the story in the way suitable to that story.
