Initially we thought probably not. There is a high on-chain cost associated with it, and you have to run LN infrastructure. But it might be possible if you do very infrequent rounds.
But we're currently not optimizing for that.

While y'all are checking the bitcoin price, I've got some wisdom for you developers:
Bitcoin Core's wallet seems to be crazy slow.
It takes my beefy machine 4.5 seconds to generate 100 blocks to an address in the wallet.
It takes <0.01 sec to generate to a random address.

Laat I've used it was still horrible. It would randomly start pulling in stuff shaking around the time-line every time I opened it.

I've always been sad about some missed SI opportunities. Who has to come up with "tons", f.e., while we have the perfectly good megagram? People even go as far as applying SI prefixes to the ton, using "kiloton" instead of gigagram.

There's many facets. For one, we can do a pretty cool protocol without any covenant. Then, simple covenants like CTV or TXHASH make it a lot more powerful. But then eventually, something more powerful like MATT can probably boost it to way beyond (single tx multi-user exits fe), but that's research still and not in implementation whatsoever.

I've actually been thinking to restructure the TXHASH BIP as an upgrade of CTV. I believe CTV is mature enough to start activation signaling tomorrow. And I'm in favor of doing that. I don't want TXHASH work to hold it back. It can perfectly be structured as a CTV upgrade without much technical debt.

We're using them for Ark too. No production yet. We use the root keyspend for the cosigning (clArk) and the leaf for the expiration clause.

I know that some people have some very liberal definition of capitalism as basically freedom, but that's not what it is. It says capital in the name for a reason. Capitalism is the doctrine in which the owner of the capital is also the right-holder of the goods produced using the capital. Nothing more nothing less.
The while free market craze is kinda misplaced because by definition, capitalism is a market disturbance.

Capitalism is no different though. Likely even more. Socialism has a pretty loose definition, you could probably count many anarchist societies as socialist. It's kinda natural to socialize common resources. But capitalism can really only exist with a government. It's quite unnatural that capital is privately owned and workers have to yield production to supposed owners.

I've been noticing more and more websites and services block people using a VPN. It annoys me a lot. nixos.wiki for example block all VPN traffic.
Now it seems you can't watch YouTube videos without logging in anymore.

I'm using this new #Mastodon + #Nostr client called #openvibe. It has a way to go, but I feel that it's on the right track. Single feed for an account on each network.
Ideally I'd have my reposts be posted on both sides. It also often loses track of where I am on the time-line. But in general the experience is pretty smooth!

Amethyst seems to struggle keep track of where in the feed I was. I think a feed app should work on the assumption that users don't want to lose any content. So it should always go back to where it was before. Usually when I open Amethyst it's either 3 days back and I have to scroll up a lot or it's at the top and I have to scroll down.
