The game is still listed as free. I downloaded the game off GOG's website and installed it on Linux. I successfully installed it without issues and the game runs quite well. I double checked and I can download the game for Windows without the GOG Galaxy as well. I'm sorry you had this experience. This all seems puzzling to me.

Oh my I can't imagine. I live in a city yet I can walk only ten minutes to see nature, a river, and loads of trees. I love it! Forests, about 45 minutes.
