This is a fairly new phenomenom in the USA. It used to be that there was an expectation of service from vendors, and cash was king. If vendors did not live up to expectation word of mouth spread and stores/businesses died. Today people just don't care. They want digital fiat. They don't know how to count or expect anyone to do so becuase 'math is racist' and you don't want to be called racist rite?
The level of how bad this is depends on population and location... In most places now there are soo many people lining up to buy stuff from big box and low quality vendors that these vendors can offend 50% of their customers and not loose any sales becuase there is a line of customers out the door anyway.

How is this different from trading gold coins, ear rings or necklaces? Gold has mostly the same properties as bitcoin, with the only real difference being weight and transmission through ether. If you bury gold in a remote location it's almost as inaccessable as encryption.
There are no wrong answers in brainstorming and I don't want to slow you down, but this is way off track. The fact that no KYC wallets are getting attacked tells you they are right over the target.

Well said. I watched the internet go from a new unexpored place to completely captured in less than 30 years. I am now only interested in non big tech solutions.
Anyone that is still using Windows unless at the point of a gun is acting the fool. (I pretty much consider working for corp's to be forced labor)

Another thought about this: Some of the challenges for installing linux is that older hardware uses BIOS where new hardware uses UEFI firmware. Some setup utilites allow 'legacy' BIOS fallback, but newer hardware is UEFI only. Make sure you image install media for BIOS or UEFI specifically.

I have installed ubuntu recently on old and new hardware and had very little hardware problems. (I like KDE: Kubuntu) The most frustrating thing is kernel upgrades jacking up display drivers or the grub boot loader. All fixable but require patience.
For installing apps: SNAP is CRAP... I suggest Installing apps using apt repositories or binary files (built from source when you can!)
Tails is great if your objective is to run tor and a proxy, otherwise will not be a very good experience.

The difficulty finding like minded people should make it all the more clear how much twitter has dominated the converstaion by serving up what they (advertisers/gov spooks/anyone with an agenda) want you to see. Social media is a business (+ quietly a state actor), and the users are the product. It did not start out that way... hopefully nostr will remain free from this social engineering... but it will not unless the users demand it stay free.
I would advise everyone to try different clients and pay attention to the relays people use. Some clients make it easy to see what relays someone uses, while other clients obfuscate that information and users may never even see your posts.
When I find someone who's posts I like, I open their timeline to see who they follow and see who I might want to add. Then I go to my gossip client and add you. (thanks to mike dilger)

If you back up a few verses, the preceding text is about offering for error of one genuinely erring unintentionally, and is different from acting 'high handedly'. I agree with you in your comment. Milei is showing himself to be captured. My point was for everyone to watch out that we do not line up behind demons thinking they are going to save us. Thanks for your thoughts. I find the bible to be in complete harmony one book to the next. I also find that organized religions teach doctrine that is very twisted and NOT in harmony with the scriptures. I may read Enoch at some point, but knowing it is not in harmony with the prophets and apostles, it's very low on my todo list.
If you really think the bible is mangled, I would encourage you to read some more, using "the eyes of your heart". Just as Jesus spoke in parables, the truth is carefully concealed and requires heart and spirit, and lowliness of mind to get the sense of it.

Can you give an example of how Christ was well versed in the book of Enoch? (I would like to look into that) I know Paul references Enoch a time or two, but I think it was about Enoch the person, and not about the book of Enoch or about scriptures. For example many times Christ and the apostles reference the old testament saying things like "as was written by isaiah the prophet".

It is wonderful to see a growing community of faithful people.
I believe the USA was truly blessed in it's beginnings, breaking away from tyrrany and declaring independence from the King and the tentacles of the empire, while embracing God as the giver of life. But sadly, history repeats, and even those forefathers' endeavers were conquered by evil, in reality not really allowed to go very far. In time men become corrupt when we turn away from the creator.
Are we living in the time of the end? Not sure how it could be considered anything less. The day is comming when Christ will return. His brothers will see it, and know salvation is at hand. I pray we are close to that day, yet I know that a day is as a thousand years with God, and if you do the math, if God takes a lunch break another 40 years will transpire.
So I keep in expectation of Christ's return, as we were admonished to do. We are living in the darkness at present, but the light is indeed coming.

Assertions in the video, that are probably about half true: Use air gapped and old hardware. Private node, signing server. Otherwise, yah, you have provided everything through the custody of the wholly owned shtnode hosting that wallet. Maxis dont want to talk about this because adoption is the priority, and actaully above protecting users. For most, it's their investiment first, then freedom currency.
While I do know the hardware is compromised, it's combined with a propaganda psyop trying convince everyone that resistance is futile. (so you might as well use that easy wallet right?) Well said @LiberyGal Science, facts and theory are not the agenda with the tyrants. Any opposition to their ideology is met with every trick in the book but not with reasoning, discussion and debate to find truth. I will no longer debate with anyone that is not at least agreeable with the premise that the only agenda is finding truth. It's a huge time saver. 😀

Without a lot of critical thought, the fact that fiatjaf is using telegram (or signal?) for direct messaging, would be a pretty good indicator that nostr is not private. But sure, onboard more twitter users, let's see what they say when they think nobody can see it, should be informative.

There is power to be gained by serving up evolution as expanation for life on the planet. People tend to belive anything PHD's say when they speak with authority and wear a white lab coat.
The simplest explanation is the correct one: The earth was created. By what we know as God, who is what we know as a spirit. Even our language is limited... but our science is like a child playing in a sand box in comparison to the things made.
