Sorry @npub1a2q…dcg8 but this was a dumb headline in the first place. The synchrotron is a “nuclear facility” like the local x-ray joint, just much more powerful. Seems like this was an ignorant attempt at “even nuclear reactors need solar power” but this really missed the mark. Even our actual nuclear reactor doesn’t generate power because that would be very different than generating neutrons for research.

Mac OS 14.1 doesn't fix the issue where Chromium apps do not properly handle daylight savings. So Chrome, Slack, Cron calendar STILL show some times off by one hour. It seems incredible that neither Apple nor the apps have fixed this.
