it's like the difference between having a blu-ray and streaming on netflix. nobody expects to keep netflix when they stop paying for it, and there's a clear end date (the end of the month) but for a blu-ray you expect it to last forever. (this doesn't take into consideration digital vs physical)
what the game companies are doing is selling you the blu-ray and then after the fact stealing it back.

This is the goods or service argument. you're purchasing a game (which is a good) but they're treating it like a service. there's no clear terms on when the game will shut down.
what he's ultimately wanting is an offline or self-hostable server but at the very least forcing the game publishers to be more clear about when the game is shutting down.
this would mean that the game would be sold as a service with clear end dates. (a lot of games have a date when liscenses will expire if they have brand-name things(music/cars/guns etc), so a lot of these companies could in theory give an exact end-date when the game first releases, but they don't.

This is actually possible on the 2016+ macbooks. all of their speaker hardware is limited in software so if you did something stupid with sound you could actually blow your speakers. in fact in around the time the new macs came out, there was a TON of reports of people installing windows via bootcamp only for windows to blow the speakers.

I like my fold5, but mostly not for it's inner screen, sure it's cool, but the real excellent part of the phone is the outer screen. it's very easily one-handed and is nice and flat, the fingerprint sensor is on the side so I can use a nice tempered glass screen protector, and I have a nice leather skin on the back. and the battery life is absolutely penominal, I can get like 7 hours constant usage with either the inner or outer screen set to max res and Hz
so I think the best part of the screen is the outer one
