I'm awake, so:
"Small Saga" finished! It's really great!
All characters are lovely in their own way.
Awesome visuals and important messages. I took so many screenshots just of quotes I loved!
It feels a bit like "Final Fantasy 9" meets Mrs Frisby/Brisby, and I love that!
No grinding, meaningful quests, lovely LGBT+ representation.
Themes of the dangers of greed, monarchy and similar, many good messages about anarchist living and equality.

You know I love video games as well as efficiency in tech?
I'm impressed by new technology like raytracing and such!
But every so often I go back to things like:
Wario Land 2 was, if I'm not mistaken, the biggest (file size) classic Gameboy game with 1MB.
The first Gameboy had a 4 Mhz CPU, 8 KB RAM and 8 KB video RAM.
The PlayStation 1 had a processor with 33.86 Mhz, 2 MB RAM and 1 MB video RAM.
It was, and still is, so damn impressive what these systems did with this hardware!

I don't know if I ever told this about me, being a Furry and my veganism, but in case I didn't, have a fun fact about me:
When I started living vegan I briefly considered if I should change my fursona to a herbivore species to "fit".
Ultimately I decided against it, for one reason because I like the character, but also because I considered it more fitting to, like human me, show a species that would eat meat willingly overcome it as active decision.
Also, yes, it's not 100%

Somewhere someone posted the thought that due to the fact that we humans live for like eight or more generations of cats, dogs and many other animals, we are basically to their world what elves and dwarfs are for humans in fantasy settings, those big, mythical near-immortal creatures.
That's kinda fun and romantic in a way.
But now spin that further:
We could, to them, be titans that protect life.
Titans that feed and protect them, their children, their children.

#Lidl hat für die Hafermilch eine neue Verpackung und SCHEINBAR auch die Rezeptur geändert.
Ich habe keine alte Packung mehr um es zu vergleichen, aber meiner Meinung nach schmeckt es um einiges...wässriger?
Die Baristamilch ist noch okay, war aber jetzt auch oft leer, ich habe Angst, dass sie die auch einstellen.
Ich habe einmal diese "Not Milk" oder wie die von Lidl heißt proviert, aber, ugh, gefällt mir gar nicht.
Hat so echt Kuhmilch geschmeckt? Ich kann mich nicht mehr erinnern. 😅

So it seems a German club "Article 5" has been "raided" by police because they're hosting Tor exit notes and obviously neither cops not politicians understand what Tor is, how it works and how many people benefit from it.

What the!
I was COMPLETELY sure that this weekend would be Halloween.
Then I was told it's not...and I was totally fucked up for a moment, thinking my scattered brain would, this time, not have forgotten just a day, but a whole month!?
I was really going crazy, scrolling up and down in my calendar several times.
Until I realized Halloween is in October and not August.
I WAS SO SURE, for weeks, "it's Halloween soon".
I was even sad I once again missed the chance to get a Halloween commission.

I just watched Disney's "The Great Mouse Detective" for the 1st time (I think).
I really liked it, not surprising, considering I enjoy all Sherlock Holmes and crime detective stuff in general.
But I love the Holmes things, like, Basil living in the same house as Holmes and even having a housekeeper with a very similar name to Holmes', so, that's cute and lovely.
The artwork is lovely, as usual beautiful backgrounds, and Olivia is the cutest, I wanna hug her! ♥️

I think I'll go see that Looney Tunes Daffy Duck and Porky Pig movie this weekend.

I just learned that the search engine "Duck Duck Go" also has a "Lite" mode which works without JavaScript, only consists of search bar and logo and uses barely any traffic.
While I personally don't use it, I think every website's (and really, any piece of software's) goal should be to be as lightweight and ressource saving as possible.
Optimization and using few resources is sexy. ♥️

Another site banning entirely fictional stufff.
I really hoped we'd leave the "fiction affects reality" stuff behind after one after another "violent video games" discussions, but noo.
And as soon as the themes banned are more niche or something, suddenly people are fine or happy with it, until they come for their interests next.
So, yeah. It's always either applying RL morals to fictional stuff OR evil payment providers.
I assume the latter in this case. 😡

There's an upcoming game on Steam that features learning about plants and nature and stuff and also involves cooking.
So, fitting the "living with nature" I proposed (respectfully and friendly) to them to offer plant-based alternatives to milk, cheese and cream in recipes because of respect of nature and animals and all.
We will see how that goes on the Steam forums. 😁

Ich persönlich bin froh, dass ich tatsächlich die von Vemondo, der Lidl-Eigenmarke, sehr gut finde, weil die gleichzeitig auch günstig ist.
