I finally put an animated #Moon observation from 2018 onto #WikimediaCommons, where I observed the Moon one evening and then again the next morning. With a ~7000km baseline due to the Earth having rotated with me on it, the Moon appears under an angle differing by ~0.5°. That is "diurnal libration":

Ich habe gerade überschlagen, dass wir mit unseren 10 Solarmodulen (4,2 kWp Leistung) übers Jahr genug Strom für normalen Verbrauch und mit Wärmepumpe und Jahresarbeitszahl 2,5 auch für Warmwasser und Heizwärme erzeugen könnten.
Nur 10 Module! 20m². Für eine ganze Familie im gut gedämmten Reihenhaus.

Nein, liebe @npub1grh…8k9p , der VW Up wird nicht wegen "strengerer EU-Regeln" eingestellt, sondern weil dem Konzern die Margen zu klein sind.
Aber in 15 Jahren wird es VW so nicht mehr geben und E-Kleinwagen, die als letzte noch in Innenstädten erlaubt sind, kommen dann von BYD und Co.

I want to second this. These studded tires run well on packed snow - but also do that without the studs. It's the profile and plowed paths that do the trick.
Except maybe for the first and last days of winter, with frost and thawing. But it might be needed to get cyclists across that gap, and the studded tires might just do that.

I've discovered @npub1z94…xc7v to composite #paper figures. Soooo powerful. Use your favourite plotting software to output a #PDF, open this in Inkscape to access all vector elements individually and change layer ordering, line structure, fonts, transparency, colour, etc. And add e.g. a pixel image and combine all into something coherent.

Today I'm attempting #Heidelberg-#Madrid by #rail in one day. 6 trains from #tram to #TGV. Made train no 1 at 6:39. ETA in Madrid is 23:45.
Biggest challenge might be the regional train to Mannheim. Due to illness of personnel at least 1 of the 3 trains I could take simply isn't running, which means that one of the others will be crowded and hence delayed ...

I was amazed by the images from the other side. Hamburg has a storm-anti-surge, with water levels at (historic?) lows. I have never seen some of the the harbour tour boats sitting in the mud.
But of course it's the same thing, only on the leeward side.

For Deutsche Bahn I can strongly suggest to use the low-fi webpage www.bahn.expert and check your station or train. It will tell you order of carriages and up-to-date arrival/departure info.
It actually draws from official DB databases, but collects more infor than you can can from DB itself in an easy way.
I only travel in Germany with this open, to do potential real-time replanning. Including the use of other delayed trains as new options.

*That* will define how general and wide-reaching a "consensus" actually is.
In the area of e.g. climate change those uncertainties have been spelled out in very much detail.

Wir haben der Stadt #Heidelber schon vor Jahren vorgeschlagen zur Generalprävention einfach dauerhaft den Gemeindevollzugsdienst mit einem Abschleppwagen "an der Leine" durch Straßenzüge laufen zu lassen und wann immer dort eine Behinderung von anderen Verkehrsteilnehmer*innen durch einen PKW zu sehen ist, diesen einfach mitzunehmen. Entspricht den Möglichkeiten der Rechtslage - wollten sie nicht.
