For Deutsche Bahn I can strongly suggest to use the low-fi webpage www.bahn.expert and check your station or train. It will tell you order of carriages and up-to-date arrival/departure info.
It actually draws from official DB databases, but collects more infor than you can can from DB itself in an easy way.
I only travel in Germany with this open, to do potential real-time replanning. Including the use of other delayed trains as new options.
