Sounds good.
The interesting part of a #metaverse to me is how to share live experiences, and for sure, Fedi is doing that to some degree.
I can imagine Fedi slowly morphing into something more immersive. EG broadly supporting live streams and p2p bi-directional sockets; engaging with the capabilities of multiple instances through a common visual paradigm; avatars becoming more engaging than little images…

also I must tell you there are non-dualistic religious views without the angry god who punishes. Atheists usually seem unaware that Catholocism is polytheistic, with Mary, the trinity, and Satan all essentially gods, not to mention angels, saints, and demons. But my point is that dualism is what you're rejecting.

So do you get my point that maybe atheists should choose something other than physicalism?

When someone says they are atheist, I hear "physicalist." I think what people mean, is that they reject the commonly derided faults of conservative organized religion. But while the simple language for that is #atheism, I think they usually don't realize that what you get when you deny god in our culture is #physicalism, albeit unexamined. I would encourage my friends to set your standards in positive, inclusive terms. Setting the example is how we shift culture.
