Besides, I don’t share your absolute faith that voting will keep Trump out of power. Even if he loses the election, Trump may still come to power. He controls Congress. He controls the Supreme Court and he controls a bunch of state, governorships and secretaries of state.

You’re trying to think of fascism in terms of a democracy. That’s not how fascism - or indeed revolutions - work. If you have 10% of the people, you can disrupt society enough to take power. It’s not a guarantee, but you don’t need a majority
