I'm Don. I live in Arlington Virginia ("Occupied DC" as far as I'm concerned. Retro-retrocession now!) and get up to a variety of nerdy things. I was very proud of We Love DC and wrangling authors and websites was good practice for parenting.

It’s really just mind boggling how openly racist these people are. This is a person who was traveling with Trump before the debate, who he publicly praises. No disavowal. No obfuscation.

@npub1e5u…9p24 @npub1kcp…vmkd All kidding aside, this IS an education campaign at this point: convincing drivers that the red lanes are meaningless.
One common bit of parenting advice I think we’ve all heard is that repeated threatening with no consequences teaches kids they don’t have to listen to the first (or twelfth) request. Why do they think grown humans are less capable of figuring that out?

@npub1gy7…pgwm @npub1psd…9sr7 @npub1mqk…8l8c I switched over to using the open source project that uses the Dropbox api and essentially gives you 2013 Dropbox functionality - it just syncs those directories and doesn’t have all the other VC driven colab trash. https://maestral.app
I haven’t had any issues with it though I am not the most hard-core Dropbox user. It’s certainly less boated and never tries to sell me crap.

@npub1683…f0qg Oh I was thinking community, since there was discussion of price advertising. I don't think most consumers gassing up at truck stops are price sensitive the way neighborhood folks are, since they're choosing convenience over taking an exit and hunting.
