I would kind of like to revisit the 3/5 compromise. Since Blacks were only 3/5 of a person for the first 100(?) years of the republic, how about having white votes count for only 3/5 of a vote for the next 100 years?
If this had been the law for the last 40 to 50 years, we would be in a much better place now.
I have been thinking about this for the last several years.

@npub189n…satx My family in that area would leave their ranch house unlocked and told me: "We only have food and water here. If anyone going through the countryside is hungry or thirsty, I want them to have it." That is how the people in that are really think. I don't know why they vote for those people.
Actually, I do. My grandfather told me: "If they run for office in TX, you know they are crooked. So I vote for the stupidest one, so they will get caught."
