Agreed fully. Only question I have is, in response to this screenshot... In the situation were Bitcoin has obtained nearly all monetary value in the world (can no longer rely on future growth in price to incentivize miners) , would the fees have to increase so much that the main chain would be unusable by the average person?

I'm able to zap anyone using Phoenix wallet (non-custodial and I hold my own keys). Yes, there isn't a non-custodial wallet I know of directly integrated to receive zaps but its not like you need to keep any remotely significant amount on that wallet.
The main thing is, Bitcoin's base protocol is incorruptible and there are still non-custodial options to meet our needs.
