Our new rug that I love so much -- it's an investment! -- turns out to make our cat feel like she has a new enormous scratching post. This investment rug already has several loose loops because of it. Do you have any suggestions for teaching a cat to cut it out?

Talk of the love we have for The Breakfast Club and the young people I know (14-20ish) mostly say, no thanks. They don't like the absence of consent (the scene with Molly Ringwald & the table) and some other problematic themes.
I don't believe it's fair or right to say "the kids today will make a better world" -- we have to do that for them (and with them) -- and at the same time, there's so much good in the younger generations. They are my heroes in so many ways.

@npub1m6v…n9vs so glad it’s negative! If you still have symptoms, you might want to test again in a day or two, the latest strains, sometimes take as long as four days to show positive.

@npub1f2m…h630 yeah, I just told one of the T2 founders how I love mastodon but I am sure it won't be adopted by The Masses bc of it's user experience and how bluesky and T2 seem like the maybe options but I like mastodon better than GIVE ME ENGAGEMENT blueskyyyyy I think I meant this reply to go to @npub1vyt…mgjn oops edited to add

I HATE wearing a mask. I’m a sweater (I sweat easily and a lot) so it gets real gross real quick.
AND I know #CovidIsNotOver so I wear the freakin thing when I’m indoors in public.
Gross. And it’s just about the least I can do.
