This is the Civics lesson our kids are learning right now:
"The rule of law" is just an empty phrase. Courts can be stacked. Judges can be bought. Laws are conditionally applied and enforced, and can be flouted depending on who you are. Legal battles can be won with enough money. Damn the rules. Take advantage of your opponent's desire to play by the rules. Just do whatever you need to do in order to gain and keep power.

@npub1typ…c8hh I had the same exact thought and have both Airpods and the $25 JLab earbuds for the same reason. The only problem is your iPhone can’t play to both at the same time when, say, your son takes a pair and you want to co-play.

Just a thought about Elon's ill-considered renaming of Twitter: What happens to all the code (internal and external) that refers to "twitter"? I can guarantee absolutely no developer is going to rewrite their code to remove "twitter" and replace with "x". There are 142 instances of "twitter" in the html of the sign-in page alone. What a fail.
