good puns, one amazing lyrics replacement (that one’s gonna be stuck in my head for a while).
Also excellent recommendations. While I (think I) never did subscribe (heh) to much of the influencer stuff and have found quite some excellently weird people on here, I still think I have more outcasts to find (and the people stuff, but peopling is hard and scary). Maybe also a bit more being weird, though I think I am not too shabby there.

Wer Aqua Faba sagt, muss auch Kichererbsen sagen, oder so. Und manchmal ist es halt mehr für den Magen als für die Augen.
Bevor ich mich um den “Käse-kuchen kümmere, braucht es auch ne ordentliche Mahlzeit (oder es wird zu viel von mir genascht).
Und wegen Unklarheit bezüglich einer wegen Krankheit entfallener Teilnahme an einem gewissem Hackerevent ist auch noch viel TK-Gemüse auf Lager, muss auch mal weg.

@nprofile…yzww TIL, dass solche Tierbisse richtig gefährlich sein können, selbst wenn das Tier nicht Tollwut hat.
Ich hatte mal in der Kindheit einen Hundebiss (Haustier, zu sehr bedrängt), wo glaube ich noch ne Narbe von da ist, aber damals ging es glaube ich nicht zum Arzt (hätte es vielleicht aber sollen).

Soweit ist es bei mir noch nicht, für drei Tage reichen meistens der große Rucksack und 1-2 Beutel.
Aber der Baumarkt und der Ikea sind nicht viel weiter weg, also… das ist auch schonmal passiert. Leider sperrt beim Ikea Einkaufswagen ein Rad, wenn man zu weit wegfährt. Beim Baumarkt Wagen glücklicherweise nicht :D

Aber ich bin froh, 5 Fußminuten entfernt von einer guten Einkaufsmöglichkeit zu wohnen. Bei ganz großen Einkäufen leiht man sich halt mal den Einkaufswagen kurz aus, die meisten Leuten gucken dabei gar nicht so komisch.

In our flatshare, we have a bit of a running joke based on someone misunderstanding what was meant with fried noodles (“wait you put them directly in a pan?!”). Since then, I find those dishes where you actually put them directly in the pan, like Pastasotto, or in this case: Spaghetti all’assassina.
The pasta has a bit more bite to it, and it gets a hint of sweetness from the slightly caramelised sugars in the tomatoes.

if it helps, these are actually really simple, since ffMPeg does conversion by default, on Linux/Mac the command would be “ffmpeg -i file.mp3 file.wav”, Windows might need an added dot EXE.
Not sure if necessary, but for screen reader clarity:

WAF ist häufig ein sinnvoll konfigurierter NginX, plus entsprechende Config der Anwendungen (Allowed Hosts, Cors, …) in einem Production Modus (e.g. gunicorn statt django runserver).
Sonst habe ich in einem Kontext Azure API Management genutzt (weil Standard dort), das hat auch ein paar entsprechende Features. Aber so richtig habe ich es nicht getestet, nicht mein Job und es ist eh vorgegeben.
Ich könnte Kollegen fragen, wenn die Frage sehr brennt.

@nprofile…jwku es ist zumindest anders. Ich kann leider nicht sagen, wie es sich jetzt genau in der Pfanne verhält. Meistens kommt es hier in den Topf (aer schon etwas gebraten), nach dem Gemüse (Lasagne oder Bolognese). Da wird es nicht zur Frikadelle, aber das gibt es auch “Trennmittel”.
Und in eigenem Interesse: Wo holt mensch sich diese Großpackungen am besten?

#TIL having to large of a bowl makes brûlée-ing the crème take very long, unless you have a big torch (as posted previously).
I also learned: A heat gun counts as a bigger torch. Might not be the cleanest result, might need a different head, but it was certainly faster. Though you might want to start witht he torch to melt the sugar, otherwise, the sugar might go flying.

Is there something like #MagicLantern (custom Firmware for Canon cameras) for #Nikon cameras (specifically, the D5600)?
There are a few issues I have with the default firmware (unnecessary recording time limit, touchscreen controls unusable when watching through viewfinder as a left-eye dominant person, no custom modes, …).
My search did not come up with something, and NikonHacker also has disappeared…

@nprofile…6k6g Eine Idee: Beim Ausräumen der Spülmaschine oder einräumen nach dem Spülen Sachen oben drauflegen und sich angewöhnen, dass wann man gerne nimmt, auszugraben. Dann sammelt sich selten benutztes unten, und kann vielleicht durch schönes anderes ersetzt werden (weil es einer andere Person gefunden hat, bei der es oben auf dem Stapel ist).
Aber sich von so Sachen trennen ist immer schwierig :(

Ich habe dieses Jahr von einem Familienteil einen dieser veganen Adventskalender (von Veganbox, glaube ich) bekommen, und da gab es schon ein paar Highlights bisher (Sachen, von denen ich noch nicht wusste, dass es sie fertig gibt, und mich z.T. wunderte warum):
* “M&Ms” (einfach Zartbitterschokolade nehmen, Bild 1)
* Kichererbsen in Schokolade (überraschend gut, Bild 2&3)
* “Snickers” (einfach keine Milch ins Karamell tun, Bild 4)

@nprofile…6k6g Essen, die nichts fürs Auge sind, sind die besten. Manchmal macht “ordentliches” Plating halt Spaß, manchmal kommt halt gemütliche Matsche auf den Teller.
Hast du was besonderes mit dem Tofu gemacht (gefroren, mariniert, …), oder einfach nur so kleingebröselt und gebraten?

Das war auch eher so ein Ding, wo der Weg das Ziel ist, und alleine hätte ich das nicht gemacht. Wir hatten gute Freunde zu Besuch da und waren zu sechst, da geht das schon ganz gut.
Ich habe in der Zeit auch vergleichsweise wenig, aber dafür detailliert dekoriert.
Wenn man da die richtigen Leute da hat, ist das schon Spaß.

@nprofile…6k6g oh Mist, das mit den Augen weiß ich jetzt nicht. Die wurden von den Gästen mitgebracht, und alle Beteiligten (wir auch) haben sich nicht viel gedacht (warum sollte da was an Zuckeraugen sein).
Kurze Recherche zeigt, dass es auch gut erhältliche vegane Zuckeraugen gibt, aber auch nicht vegane.
Ob das so welche sind, keine Ahnung :(

#AskFedi: I have noticed my image management is a mess. While I do not need to de-google, my RAW files and sidecars are spread across 2 machines and a RAID enclosure.
And while I am intending to move more things to my #HomeLab, I looked at #Immich and #PhotoPrism. So far Immich seems more like what I want, but PhotoPrism supports RAW file rendering using #DarkTable, which I use for RAW development.
Does anyone know other options or have experience with this use case? :BoostOK:
