It's blatant corruption. And nothing at all will happen to her. Worst case, she'll have to reimburse the state and maybe pay a small fine. But I doubt even that will happen.

@npub1xpc…3t05 I can't listen to American sports announcers at all anymore. It's all shouty all the time. Apparently they think that sounding like a macho tough guy is what fans want. I stopped watching all American league sports in part because of this.

@npub1xpc…3t05 It's not that different than what we have here. Teams routinely, or at least used to, blackout home games in order to sell tickets. The Jets were notorious for this in the '80's and '90's. MLB used to blackout games in five markets when I was living in Iowa City. They honestly thought they could make me drive to Denver or Milwaukee? Are they insane?
