Teams routinely, or at least used to, blackout home games in order to sell tickets. The Jets were notorious for this in the '80's and '90's. MLB used to blackout games in five markets when I was living in Iowa City. They honestly thought they could make me drive to Denver or Milwaukee? Are they insane?",
