There are two kinds of advertising
Contextual Targeted Not to bury my point: contextual is the normal, good, fair, effective type of advertising. Targeted is the creepy, resource intensive, privacy invading, and, (?!?!?!!) not particularly effective type of advertising. We'll get there. A billboard is contextual advertising. You're driving on the highway and are told there is a McDonalds in 7 miles. The human condition + geography are the context.

Frostapalooza Visualizations
A week from today is Frostapalooza, Brad's big show he's throwing incorporating a ton of friends and family. In addition to the 40 musicians rotating on stage, now there will be visual artists showing off their work as well. Have you shake a snow globe lately? The snow falls for like 4 seconds. That is some garbage shake effort to satisfying snowfall ratio. One shake should be good for like 20 minutes.

Just saw an ad on TV during the Olympics where if there is an Olympian you're inspired by, you should use Google Gemini to write them a letter for you.
I'm having one of those "I hate this timeline." moments. How would it feel to be that Olympian getting soulless slop letters. I guess you hit the Google Gemini button to respond.
The basic idea though, writing a letter to someone inspiring, is wonderful. Use your own words. It will so much more meaningful.

Fascinating that deadmau5 doesn't even *like* electronic music.
Kind of a weird thing to be public about. Like I'm not sure I'd go see a show for entertainment knowing the artist doesn't even enjoy doing it. I wouldn't be able to think about anything else. Not that anyone should bottle up their feelings or whatever, or that you're required to be passionate about your job, it just makes me feel strangely.
