Iron Strike Smash Burger in the Midtown Beer Garden food cart pod is *stellar*.
The Filipino cart also was tasty but I need to have their pancit and not just lumpia to grade them. But the lumpia were good. The lumpia were fantastic.
All products sampled dead sober. This is not munchies. This is an incredible smash burger.
Tell your friends. Tell your enemies as long as they tip. Tell everyone. Will try it with the Beyond smash next time. I think they probably can get those edges crispy and lacy too. So so so so good.

Another case of documented white male road rage in #Portland.
Where is our “Commissioner for Public Safety” after two white men committed road rage related murder in a week and a half and now this comes out?
Also son you’re not fit to bump Yelawolf. He’s a good guy. Actually most white dudes are good guys. Possibly a majority.
It’s just the ones that aren’t…it’s extremely tiring hearing excuses why their violence is righteous and any of us lesser people standing in opposition to “whatever whatever I do what I want” are “rude” and “annoying.”
No…the out of control road rage is way worse than that. But I’m sure this is super “rude” and Laurelhurst Liberals are very unhappy someone could be so “rude”.
Pretty sure homicides are ruder but you do you boo.

And one in particular, who flipped out at me, discussed how "rude" it was because this person knew the guy from church and Nazis weren't Christian.
And, like, had they not blocked me for the sin of "rude" for not wanting to be a lampshade for wh*te male convenience, I'd have reminded them the quote about how some of the worst Nazis were some sort of good faithful Prot who went to church.
This person's defense was knowing this guy from church.
Fortunately, the alt-weeklies outed his population control fetish and he got crushed, but 18% of Portland still voted that most people I know should be lampshades.
That's fucking *terrifying*.

I avoid trumpeting the mastodon is better thing excessively but the fact that it is absolutely pushing good descriptions and they're catching on, sometimes with decent commentary no less...that's a reminder that actually most people want to comply with accessibility policies and statutes.
70% compliance isn't accessibility. But it's a damn good start, and keep those numbers going up. Here and on bsky.

So, #Portland, what it's actually done is push most of the camping east.
But because we're humans and not assholes out here we don't just pitch a Karenfit that we saw a tent.
I know these are hard realities to face, but the City's insistence on more money for cops and less money for housing isn't just cruel, it's fiscally irrational.
Housing people is Pareto optimal. This ain't. The people who want mass incarceration of the houseless sure as hell ain't, and if you think they have any plans to stop at houseless people, clearly you haven't been watching the #pdx Nazi discourse on gay people leaving the fucking house.
We need to stop throwing money at useless cops and start investing it in people who actually fucking live here.
