Ridley Scott described the particular dystopia of the world of Blade Runner as "industrial imperialism". A world "run and owned by three corporations, maybe two, when it gets to one it gets really dangerous". And that when it gets to that point whether, it's imperialism, capitalism or communism, the end result is the same.
As corporations buy up our housing, sprout billionaires as the middle class disappears, encroach upon our elections, it seems we are running headlong towards it.

I have a computer I want to sell. I just made sure it was ready to go and took some pics. That's the easy part. Now I just don't have the will to actually do the selling of it. I'm not on Facebook, so Craigslist is my best option, I guess, and I hate that whole thing, then there's the whole chargeback scam worry so have to insist on cash.

The current state of crypto as a whole is that it's a big tank where the hole at the bottom where losses through scams/theft leak out is only slightly smaller than the hole up top where new money from the future-scammed comes in.
The only people who truly win are the ones who own the tank.
Just like banking. But worse.
EDIT: Forgot to say, everything else is just value shuffled around the tank from one wallet to another, from loser to winner, ad infinitum until the bottom hole gets bigger.

@npub1dm5…5sqe @npub12at…me5y I'm kinda feeling the opposite. The P1S prints well, but I almost (but not quite) regret getting it. I have 2 X1Cs and I don't ever worry about runaway spaghetti failure or having to watch for first layer defects. So I end up using the P1S as my pinch-hitter or 'first draft' printer more often.

Amtrak stopped traditional dining a good while back on most long routes. They just did a 3 month pilot to bring it back to Silver Star. I am on the Silver Star right now.
