The individualism in U.S. culture is such bullshit. The idea that it's weird for there to be multiple generations in a home makes life harder on everyone... Adults who feel bad that they have to move in with their parents, or parents feeling bad for having to move in with their kids. It feels like it should be so natural.
And I understand we got some wonky parents, not everyone wants every parent around, but there shouldn't be so much stigma attached to combined households.

Also I'd probably go with more realistic costumes... In modern office settings, the A/C is kept so high that women are constantly feeling cold and men are find in their suits, so I'd inverse the clothing mechanic: Women are bundled up and men are in normal or skimpy outfits.
That is if we assume future bubble city's climate is set up for men in mind and we don't have "climate control equity" in that future.

So today I watched Her for the first time and a few weeks ago I watched Starship Troopers for the first time, and now I'm kind of sick of movies that have any of their "look this is bad" commentary as subtext.
This is why you see people who like "Fight Club" but just because it's like "woah cool, dudes fighting!" and not with any more deep analysis of it.
Kinda feel like if you're depicting "this thing is bad" it should be actually stated in the movie?

I feel like making a "solitaire and freecell for ADHD" version.
For freecell, it'd be cool to highlight cards I'm interested in, instead of having to constantly scan my eyes over a huge card pile.
For solitaire (klondike?) I figure why not just show what all's in the deck so you don't have to keep that all in your working memory? (my memory is garbo)

I have a paper based "meme journal" where I print/log memes but also trends and language usage over time.
I'm interested in "algospeak", basically common euphemisms that get used to get around algorithmic censorship (e.g., unalive, corn), but the articles I'm finding are from 2022-2023 and I'm not seeing an actual log of terms.
Anyone have suggestions? I might post em in a blog post later on.
I also keep a tally of generational slang, from "the cat's pajamas" to "you thought you ate".

My mobile games haven't been updated in years and won't install on most Android phones now. Makes me want (or wonder if there exists) like a core app for games that other games can be written for and always run... Just the core app has to be updated.
Basically like JVM or Python. Just update the core app but things mostly continue to run on it fine.
I know there are version changes but it feels like things would last longer that way.
Or just make games for mobile for DOS, run in dosbox. 🤪

I'm basically thinking of having students all use VSCod(ium) in my CS 200 course so they're still building with g++ and to teach them a bit about filesystems, files, and folders, plus some kind of IDE that is CROSS PLATFORM for Windows, Linux, and Mac.
Because as it is, neither Visual Studio nor Code::Blocks really have a Mac option (VS Mac doesn't have C++, CodeBlocks is really old or something), and I'm tired of trying to figure out Xcode when I don't have a Mac computer myself.

Added a basic battle state to the game. Basically, the business ghosts have requests, and if you don't defend, then their requests give you more work to do and your energy goes down.
Haven't figured out what your "attack" will actually look like yet... 🤔

I'm adding a safeguard to the "Toilet Paper Cat" game in [Rachel's Playdate Game Pack] to make sure the player holds the DOWN button while cranking.
This is because I've had a couple of incidents of competitive children grasping the screen region while cranking, causing various problems.
Also this month: Replacing "I Hate Skeletons" with a better game, perhaps with the same name.
