So today I watched Her for the first time and a few weeks ago I watched Starship Troopers for the first time, and now I'm kind of sick of movies that have any of their "look this is bad" commentary as subtext.
This is why you see people who like "Fight Club" but just because it's like "woah cool, dudes fighting!" and not with any more deep analysis of it.
Kinda feel like if you're depicting "this thing is bad" it should be actually stated in the movie?
