@npub19fc…ay3c I'm not going to dispute that, even-though the 1 I knew wasn't shitty as a human being.
However, I *am* going to point-out that putting a lifelong Buddhist monk in, as an undercover-cop, *can't* work, right?
We're the wrong character, we *can't* fool people they way required, we *can't* fit in the target-culture, etc...
Sometimes you have to choose somebody who is of a culture, in order to infiltrate a culture, or to have a representative in that culture, right?
Imagine trying to make a living building surfboards, if you have nothing to do with surfers?
or trying to make a living building drums, if you don't drum, & therefore don't understand the difference-in-feel that real drummers want, differentiating quality from junk...
Domain-1st, *then* choose somebody within that domain, seems to be the rule...

IF Winter is done, already, THEN the winter-wheat is wrecked.
And everything else that needed a real winter.
Including hibernating animals who require a full season of downtime.
This everything-melting "winter" nonsense may be "nice" to us who don't like cold, but the ecology requires its evolved-to context, or it unravels.

While true, there is no *necessary* connection to counterfeiting,
... counterfeiting is an *actual thing*, in the design-patent space, if I'm not mistaken,
based on the actual fake-products that actually are produced, in this world...
( perhaps visualize 2 Venn diagrams:
the one we both agree is false is a big circle containing a smaller circle,
but the one I'm saying *is* valid, is an intersection of 2 circles )

@npub1j8m…v5r7 Please understand that my intent isn't to attack you, it is to question an apparent contradiction-of-integrity.
When a Tamil caused me to find out that "Buddhists" had been genociding them, I wasn't happy about that, but integrity is integrity, and fact must, to me, be accepted as fact.
the ".. or in ethnic cleansing any other people. It's not in our religion .." part contradicts the 7, if I recall correctly, nations exterminated according to some book or other..
Another book lists only 6.

1. Have the courage to do it.
Courage is one of those things that if you *admit* it is in you, it comes out from "nowhere", and can get huge, fast...
IOW, it's *intrinsically* there, whether you "know" it, or not.
2. if you've never encountered them, the 2 books by John Truby are *gold*.
There are minor problems, like him having this bizarre American concept that "village" means Wild West village, when *real* village means Tribal Village, pre-agriculture & post agriculture, but it is simply sooo much worth & understandings crammed into his books...
( I've read the Genres one, have to get the Story one, next )
3. if you ever want to *hone* your work to its peak, then Coyne's "The Story Grid" is the editing book of all editing books.
