It appears hackberry leaves are edible, I started adding them, 4x the iron of spinach, 20x the calcium as kale and 20% more potassium than dates. Not that I am hung up on numbers but for others to evaluate. These things grow like crazy around here. Everybody wants to get rid of them.

Now instead of having extra junk hanging in the garage I have a nice little vintage ornament hanging there. I should have taken some before pictures. It is functional but lacks a rider. It is easily over 40 years old. It's probably only worth what I put into it with new tires, tubes and pedals so probably will keep as ornamental unless I come across someone who would really appreciate it.

I have a wild mexican plum on my property and I looked it up and the leaves are edible so looks like I have an additional salad green. It unfortunately doesn't produce fruit, I suspect not enough sun. Regardless there is so much abundance all around once you explore outside the programmed box.

Experimental plot. Weeded around the wild edibles(pa cuke weed, hedge parsley, wood sorrel and plantain). Scattered 2 bush bean varieties and blackeyed peas randomly. Combo wild and cultivated succession. Leaving the natural mulch in place.

I discovered Natural Hygiene in 1988 and that has been what I consider ideal although I have yet to adopt it completely. That would be something to look into if you are interested. It just makes too much sense to ignore.

Not like marathon fit but walking 15-20 miles a week, occasional 4 mile run and gardening chores which can be a workout digging, moving mulch, compost etc. My weight was upper 150s @ 5'9" not really "overweight" but not ideal either. My motive was the challenge/discipline of it along with a deeper cleansing than I could get in 7 days.

I started in 1988 and worked up little by little although years of doing 7 days gave me confidence to jump to 21. Plus I did a 14 day supervised fast over 20 years ago to cure a herniated disk. That was my only guided fast, except I did 7 day "guided" with my daughter to support her, not for the guidance.

While you're on the Fuller dive, let me know if you get the gist of Synergetics. I get it conceptually but I don't have the mental capacity to grasp it. It seems like it could be a game changer if we were all taught this instead of our xyz geometry.
His philosophy is what appeals most to me. I read all his books except I could not complete Synergetics due to cognitive overload.

My daughter needed a new car so I sold her mine and never replaced it. I have been hooking up the trailer to go grocery shopping with my 25 yo road bike. Just picked up my new go anywhere "hybrid" bike. The infrastructure is pretty good in this part of town. Once I figure out the Violet Crown Trail I should be good to go anywhere.

I have been training the horseherb and chickweed to take over. I only mowed 3 or 4 times this past year and I skip various sections. I harvest any wild edible that pops up which is work I enjoy and free food. The lawn is just another of the many lies we've been told.

To support this Bob needs to pay 15% more buying fruits and nuts.
1.33*.44+.56 ~= 1.15
Fruits and nuts are 10% of his expenses
1.15*.1+.9=1.015
If Bob previously netted $100 selling avocados @ $200 he now needs to net $102 rounding pennies. So
133+102= $237 a $37 increase or 19%
A 25% tarrif does not mean a 25% increase in price.
