Had a good 4 hours archery down the woods today. Nice sunny and warm day, cooler under the trees. Did the whole course with one member then did the first half again with another. Shot OK but broke one arrow.

Short documentary about Joe Archer, 'the wild man of Annesley', who lived in the woods near where our archery club is based. He worked in the pit at Annesley Colliery from age 14, then served as a commando in India and Burma. Was given permission to live on the Annesley estate by the land owners who also provided him with a caravan to live in. Died in 1985.

Had a good day. Been down the woods all day from 10 'til 5, running and taking part in our archery club's first competition. 11 of us took part, young and old, experienced and beginners. Everyone shot well. I broke one arrow and lost another, but got the highest score.

The identity of Six Swords is unknown, and as far as I know this is their only release.
I bought the record from Entr'acte back in 2017, and I just retrieved the email from Allon at the time, where he says:
"six swords is still a total
mystery… but what a great record. i might do another
one; 201 is my edit; i still have at least as many
unused tracks."

My contribution to the compilation is a two-track MIDI file based on integer sequences of 1024 numbers, transformed in the same way as used in my Superpang album Rushed Snares - one track with 14,527 notes and the other with 166,675 notes.
