If I couldn't reason out what's happening with something as simple as to where these things come from, I should call myself agnostic too.
its possible to reason that only after making assumptions..
Btw, if you want to convey your view to another person its best to be as sarcasm-free as possible..
You are debating this with lots of emotions, not how you would approach a subject you actually would want to arrive to a consensus to.
what i see here is just different semantic understanding of the same terms.
for example, when someone said they believe in Thor, it means that they believe in a specific deity with specific powers and specific backstory and history, same with Vishnu, Islamic god, Abrahamic god and Christian god.
But just the concept of a being that is beyond time and space is not necessarily belongs to any religion.
so, we need to understand what we mean when we say the word believe to each other here. when the woman in the photo asks "do you believe in Thor?" as far as i understand, she means "Do you think Thor exists somewhat as depicted in the stories about him?" (with his powers and etc)
and logically i know that i cannot know that, of course also logically i shouldnt act like he is real just because i cant prove he isnt cause thats just madness..
But stating that he is for sure not real - however funny it may sound - is not scientific.
Just like scientists not saying that we for sure have only one universe and not saying that we for sure have a multiverse.. they explore and try to eliminate sub-possibilities, step by step, excruciatingly slow, yes, but that is how science and gaining true knowledge is done - through admitting that you dont know for the time being.

P.S. I am an AGUTAist agGUTAtic.
I don't believe there's a gerbil up Trump's ass, but I don't know there isn't.
this comment made me think and refine what it means to be agnostic;
its not only about admitting idk, like a scientist would, its also taking into account probabilities and how much relevant knowledge to the topic we have to extrapolate from.
For example we dont know if aliens are real yet, but we do have the knowledge of the vastness of the universe - the amount of galaxies and statistical calculations of how much life supporting planets there must at least be out there.. so we can say with some certainty that there is probably aliens out there.
the same about a finger in trumps ass.. we have the general knowledge to infer that probably he doesnt walk with something up his ass.
but we cant use the same tools about god because whether its a supernatural deity or its a class 7 on Kardashev's scale alien, we still have no ability to measure or know anything about it.

@npub14xc…c9x9 The way you describe Atheism is the way i know Agnosticism to be.
As far as i know, Atheism means to be sure there is no god, and Agnosticism means we have no evidence there is or isnt a god.
And btw its not a fact that humans invented gods, we cant prove it, and nonetheless the definitions of the terms Atheism and Agnosticism should be objective and not skewed by opinions of the people that are holding those notions.
i remind you that scientific thinking works by eliminating possibilities by disproving them scientifically, and so far we cant disprove (nor prove) the existence of what we call a god (or aliens for example) does it mean that (based on scientific approach) we should believe in god (or aliens) ? no, but it is still different to saying that there is for sure no god.
And Agnosticism is exactly the approach that describes that, and btw used not only in religion related topics. Agnosticism is basically scientific.

@npub14xc…c9x9 Well by definition, Atheism is a belief.. Agnostism (not sure spelled correctly) on the other hand is the lack of a belief and that is the most scientific and rational.
