this comment made me think and refine what it means to be agnostic;
its not only about admitting idk, like a scientist would, its also taking into account probabilities and how much relevant knowledge to the topic we have to extrapolate from.
For example we dont know if aliens are real yet, but we do have the knowledge of the vastness of the universe - the amount of galaxies and statistical calculations of how much life supporting planets there must at least be out there.. so we can say with some certainty that there is probably aliens out there.
the same about a finger in trumps ass.. we have the general knowledge to infer that probably he doesnt walk with something up his ass.
but we cant use the same tools about god because whether its a supernatural deity or its a class 7 on Kardashev's scale alien, we still have no ability to measure or know anything about it.
