Open source is important so we can have some peace of mind that folks who know more than we do have the ability to audit the code for security and any potential back doors. Opening up a code base subjects it to all kinds of scrutiny from both good and bad actors which tends to result in greater security overall.

Good morning #nostr! It has been about a month since I joined and I'm loving "Self-Soverign Social".
My challenge has been connecting with like minded folks, which is surprising because if we are both here on nostr we likley share at least an interest in decentralization and #bitcoin.
So I want to try a little experiment this morning. I have just under 500,000 sats or about $350 in my @npub1flm…rg9q account, I want you to help me empty it!

Bitcoin ATM's advertised everywhere I look, huge ads for bitcoin ETFs in airports, people talking about it at the next table in a restaurant.
