Someone just came by my house and tried to collect our mail-in ballots. They said they were representing a local democratic politician, and said that they would deliver our ballot for us. We asked for his identification, which he gave, and any sort of identification showing he was with who he said he was with. And he supplied all of it.
And we still didn’t give him our ballots.
I don’t know if this guy was legit or not, but there’s no fucking way I’m taking a chance with this election.

My girlfriend and my daughter went out looking at yard sales on Saturday and found this $600 barely used recumbent exercise bike being sold for $35.
They had to roll it three blocks home.

Although I've never been diagnosed, I am almost certain that I've been living with hyperosmia (an over developed sense of smell) my entire life.
I can tell if someone is pregnant by scent.
I detected colon cancer in my girlfriend.
I can tell you what my neighbors are having for dinner.
I can track scent.
I can tell if meat has gone bad from a different room.
I can not walk through detergent isles.
It's useful sometimes, but other days it's distracting as hell.

If you're on Windows and you mostly use it to browse the web, send email, and do a little office work, then switching to a Linux distro wont be that difficult of an adjustment.

So we can only afford to have the AC on at night when the heats been over 90f that day.
We only turn it on after peek hours (9pm) and it does a good job of cooling down the house all night until we start our day around 7am. Then it keeps the house mildly cooler then outside until around 3pm. Then the house becomes hotter then outside from 4pm until 9pm where we start up the AC again.
So there's 5 hours where we're hot as fuck.
Fun times.
