Had to pull out the carpet cleaner.

Although I've never been diagnosed, I am almost certain that I've been living with hyperosmia (an over developed sense of smell) my entire life.
I can tell if someone is pregnant by scent.
I detected colon cancer in my girlfriend.
I can tell you what my neighbors are having for dinner.
I can track scent.
I can tell if meat has gone bad from a different room.
I can not walk through detergent isles.
It's useful sometimes, but other days it's distracting as hell.

Windows is going down a sketchy path lately and it doesn't look like it's going to get any better.
If you're on Windows and you mostly use it to browse the web, send email, and do a little office work, then switching to a Linux distro wont be that difficult of an adjustment.
I suggest Linux Mint on a dual boot so that you can keep your Windows OS as you try out Linux.

Say what you want about Apple but they make it really easy to use headphones between devices.
I love how all I have to do is pair it to my cellphone, and it automatically can be connected to either of my tablets without having to pair it over again to each device.
