look around the footers of the various jetpack pages, there is a settings/debug menu that will lead you to an on/off disable section for each segment of jetpack. Turning it off there, really turns it off.

how did you do "I have switched it off in the UI." , exactly?
I have not looked at the code exactly, but generally speaking if you switch it off properly, then it doesn't add the hooks. I would have to examine the code to be sure, but that's the usual case. But there is more than one way to "switch it off", and you may be using the other one.

quick question, what are the general hottest and coldest temperatures, you experience, in your location? That is extremes that you experience, not the actual extreme weather events for all time. You can use C or F, I don't care. Use whichever you'd use when talking about it to others there.
I generally feel that this makes a difference as to the mindset of different types of people. A lot of locations are not quite as extreme as others.

If all the posts have the same exact date time on them, then the order is going to be more or less random. In which case you need to give it something else to order by. ID reverse order perhaps?

that can indeed happen if you're one of those people who have interfering privacy software, or do not allow cookies or something like that, but for the most part it generally just doesn't happen.
