the state budget of NY is about 240 billion

I used to follow David Shor on twitter
and he is, afaik, a data scientist who when a kid, believed in knocking on doors and talking to people
then he looked at the data, and knockin on doors doesn't help; what the old time dinosaur consultants tell you - spend on TV/social media - is correct; mailing postcards and such is just busywork, so to speak

as far as I know, after Sec Clinton won the nomination, Bernie did as much as he could, as much as he was asked, to help her win
I can't find a link right now, but iirc polling data showed that bernie supporters voted for Clinton at statistically normal rates (voting is complex)

#AI means a lot of different things; you could argue that the autocorrect that has been in Microsoft word for 10 years is "AI"
Given that broad definition, it is possible that in 10 years AI will in fact be a US $100 billion/yr industry, although that "AI" may not look at all like LLM
or maybe AI will be a nothingburger
but if AI is $100Bn/yr, will even one of the hundreds of people who have sarcastically dismissed AI as worthless hype BS, will even one of those people apologize ???
