But yes, cancelling finished movies and TV shows is insane. A perversion of the Hollywood system and a stunning display of disrespect to the people that worked hard to make these shows.

@npub1qag…9gyn ChatGPT and its peers are bringing out strong feelings in people, and not just because of imminent job loss or training data issues.
In every recent discussion about AI, there is a certain percentage of people arguing that it just can’t be. There is no possible proof for this argument since we don’t know how consciousness works.
If in five years from now an AI system is supremely eloquent, charming and convincing, what are we going to do?
Saying that it can’t be won’t be enough.
