They won’t work like our brains and won’t have human consciousness - but they will be able to verbally project a “me”, a consistent personality.
At that point we are going to have a complex ethical problem on our hands.
The funny thing is, we all watched seemingly intelligent droids in movies for decades, but we never considered what such a world would truly be like.
