Whether in Ireland or across the water in UK, or pretty much any country in the world, victims of sexual assault are treated as somehow having brought it on themselves. Although the vast majority are women, gay and trans victims are also treated with suspicion and contempt. Make victims often say nothing at all because they are so ashamed of what happened to them: regardless of the victims gender, the prosecution and legal attitude is the same - that the perpetrator can be excused or validated. 🤬

Good. I hope he stays away from here. I also wish some instances were not federating with Threads or BlueSky. Both owned by people who want to monetise and use information from here, Dorsey being a former Twitter owner, and Zuckerberg being the Meta/Threads guy.
