Although the vast majority are women, gay and trans victims are also treated with suspicion and contempt. Make victims often say nothing at all because they are so ashamed of what happened to them: regardless of the victims gender, the prosecution and legal attitude is the same - that the perpetrator can be excused or validated. 🤬",
