Today I will mostly be grasping the nettle by the horn (heh) and testing the new lawn tractor on the 12" deep grass, while trying to avoid the flags from the the irrigation company that needs me to mow so they can fix everything, and all the wildflowers, which I'm going to try and avoid.

Another disappointing day of medical specialists. This neurologist spent about 20 minutes talking over both of us, not listening to what we said, and then said "Well, go gather all the records from your previous neurologists, and come back with them in six weeks." And I said "EMR (electronic medical records) are a thing. I can have all of those reports sent to you, including imaging. You were supposed to have requested them a month ago."
And he said "No, I want you to go get paper records from all of them, so I can read them more easily."
This would require at least two work days on my part, just for driving around, when EMR has been protocol for a decade. And I said as much, and he said "Oh, you're a doctor?" and at that point, I realized I was going to have to start all over again trying to find a neurologist who will take the time to find out what's wrong with my kid.
I'm so incredibly frustrated with American current healthcare.

@npub1mmf…eknq I have mentioned before that members of my family have been murdered by bomb strikes, and 12 are missing, or at least, not on the death rolls. The ones missing are all under 16, with one as young as 8 months.
The family has been there since before the Romans arrived. They were some of the first Christians. After Nakba they converted to Islam, when they realized the rest of christianity was willing to sacrifice Palestine for what the Germans did.
None of them, to my knowledge have ever been Hamas, but just like Israel's response to the Intifadas is what created Hamas, I can almost guarantee that Israel has created a generation of children who will never forget and never forgive.
Israel must be stopped. For their own good as well as everyone else.

I explained that's how I held the middle of spirit circles in mosh pits. Long, thick, wet hair hurts if you get too close. Heh.)

The part where our factory was made a unesco heritage site that the IDF destroyed? The part where Gaza was one of the most successful ports on the Spice Road? The part where Nakba? The part where the Israelis murdered 29 members of my family? The part where oil companies discovered oil in the bay, and signed a deal with Bibi to extract it a month before the bombing began? The part where the idf knew hamas was coming and pulled troops from the liberal, leftist enclaves that were massacred by hamas? Any of those things the history of which you speak? Right now, there are two babies under a year old that I can’t find, probably because they have been murdered by Israelis, or died under rubble. But, sure, let’s talk history.
No country has “right” to exist. Countries don’t have rights. People do.

Street art is such an important art movement, completely unrecognized (except for a few well known artists), but it captures the zeitgeist of areas, neighborhoods, movements...it's alive and relevant, and in America almost immediately torn down or painted over. Your feed is wonderful and inspiring, and thank you for taking the time to do it. :)
