Businesses have removed the option of commercial restrooms during COVID. This practice has been continued forward by being promoted through low-paid employees who do not want to be made responsible for maintaining public restrooms.
I know, I was also a low-paid employee made to maintain a public restroom.
The point is, not that restrooms are needed, but that a company will use COVID to make sure the cost of maintaining them never are seen on the books again.

What I find odd is that this is the second crash of a rover/observatory to try and land on the south pole of the moon.
They are looking for the elements (frozen water--Helium-3) necessary for a base after all.

I was on the ground floor in the Queer movement, and it was/is a truly spectacular battle. Progress has been made, quite dramatically. Our flag now flies around the world.
I've been heavily involved in the BLM movement and have seen things I never did before. The police are militarized like an occupying army. The Radical Right is organized thanks to social media as never in our history.
I agree, protesting will become more and more dangerous before anything will get better.

Watercolor is so tricky because the tracks are irrevocable, and unlike ink, they are transparent and can't be covered.
One brushstroke and that's it, no going back like you can with acrylic or oils. No other medium like it in art.

You are right in the respect that the globalized system now in place prevents the necessary changes to occur that could make real diferances in emissions.
I still do what I can, because, in the end, as the population grows in a closed ecosystem, we will be forced to do it anyway. This way I can at least be somewhat prepared for drastic changes that are inevitable to come.

That is essentially what the SCOTUS has done with the verdict in 21-476 303 Creative LLC v. Elenis, chipping away at laws protecting people from "religious-based" discrimination.

When in a consumer mentality--we've all been there--the idea of quality control (privacy for originality, the controversial, peace of mind of not being used unnecessarily), coupled with common sense leadership intercepting harassment, such thoughts can be abstract when wanting an immediate rush.

Economic slavery is still slavery. Just as oppressive if there are structures built into a society to maintain it, like invulnerable law enforcement, & even an unchangeable skin color to mark people & keep them in place. The real beauty of the current system is that the bulk of those enslaved do not even know it.
