TIL: If you signed in to OpenAI using a social media option, your email is forever locked to said social media, and can never be changed. You can’t even terminate and re-create the account. You will never be able to switch login method.

It doesn’t support the standard 45W USB-PD profile, instead it has a custom 39W one, that is outside the spec and many devices won’t support. So if you try to use it on a MacBook for example, it will get something like 7.5W super-slow-motion

@nprofile…dpa9 they are the same until they’re not. Most problems are related to higher power levels though. The basic 5v charge works for most cases.
Though I found that when I use a usb-a in my monitor to usb-c in my iPad cover, it doesn’t start to charge. The same cable works if I plug it directly into the iPad.

@nprofile…gyrf I use cloudflare, they don’t support storing email, but will forward it to whatever corporate email of your choice. I'm not paying anything, but I think it requires them to manage the domain. I transferred mine there when google killed their service.

@nprofile…36md it has been a new repository, and the outer shell has been written from scratch. But internally, various old pieces of code are being used, with a wrapper to make them interface nicely with the new code.

Finally arch is behaving as expected again. This upgrade gave me lots of issues. I had to manually edit /etc/pacman.conf, even though I never touched it. I also had to uninstall everything depending on electron and dotnet, since a chicken and egg dependency loop.
Now the install is running, will be interesting to see if it also boots after.

@nprofile…5lc3 wow, that is surprising to me. I'm stuck at season 1 episode 9, and haven’t wanted to continue. At least until I finish a lot of other stuff first.
I just didn’t find the premise believable. Some guy has some bad memories that makes him uncomfortable when staying home at night. And to solve this, he goes and removes the day from his life, so he is left with only the night. Who would do that?
